Event overview
The 2026 Southside Stroll is scheduled for January 24, 2026 in College Station, Texas. The course begins on the grounds of St. Thomas and follows paved roads through the historic Southside neighborhood. The route is described as flat. The event is rain or shine and will not be timed. All proceeds support scholarships and programming for students and families of St. Thomas Early Learning Center. The event does not offer refunds or deferrals.

Packet pickup and walk-up registration occur the morning of the race at St. Thomas Early Learning Center. All participants receive a child-created participation medal, a bib, and post-event goodies including Blue Baker cookies. Long sleeve sport tech t-shirts are sold separately for $20 and are available in limited quantities the day of the race.
Registration fees listed on the event page are $34.36 for the 5K and $23.61 for the 1 Mile Stroll (registration period shown November 17 to January 22). Any 1 Mile Stroll participant aged 5 or younger (as of September 1, 2025) is free, and an automatic family discount applies when three or more people register together for the 1 Mile Stroll.
