Event overview
The Southside Stroll takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 906 George Bush Drive, College Station, TX. The event offers both a 5K and a 1 Mile distance. The course begins on the grounds of St. Thomas and follows paved roads through the historic Southside neighborhood. The organizer describes the course as flat and fast. The event is held rain or shine and is not timed. All proceeds support scholarships and programming for students and families of St. Thomas Early Learning Center.
Registration and race-day information
All participants receive a child-created participation medal, a bib, and post-event goodies, which include Blue Baker cookies. T-shirts are sold separately for $20 and a limited number will be available on race day. Packet pickup is held the morning of the race at St. Thomas Early Learning Center. Registration fees shown in the event information are $34.36 for the 5K and $23.61 for the 1 Mile. The 1 Mile Stroll offers free admittance for participants aged 5 or younger (as of Sept 1, 2025) and an automatic family discount when registering three or more people in the same transaction.
