Southern Tier Triathlon Club Summer Tri Series
The Southern Tier Triathlon Club Summer Tri Series is a three-race Super Sprint triathlon series held in the lakeside community of Cassadaga, NY, on Park Avenue. The series consists of three separate race evenings in June, July, and August, with Race #1 on June 9, Race #2 on July 7, and Race #3 on August 4.
Each Super Sprint race includes these competition segments:
- 400 m swim
- 13 mile bike
- 2 mile run
Event options include individual Sprint Triathlon entries, an AquaBike option offered to individuals only (not relay teams), and relay team entries. Paratriathletes are welcome. Participants may race a single event or enter all three races in the series.
Points are awarded at each race toward season standings. At the end of the series the Champion through fifth place for male and female categories are honored. Participants who register for all three races receive a discount on each race, one race t-shirt, and three finisher medals; those entries are eligible for overall and age-group awards. Race transfers incur additional fees equal to the current rate of the race being transferred to. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
