Southern California Brain Tumor Walk - May 9, 2026
The Southern California Brain Tumor Walk takes place at Griffith Park - Crystal Springs in Los Angeles. The event is organized as a 5K (3.1 mi) walk with an option to run untimed; participants may walk or run at their own pace. Wheelchairs, strollers, and leashed pets are welcome. On-site parking is available at the park.
The program includes a Celebration of Life and a Survivor Tribute during the event program, as well as fundraising awards and recognition. In-person registrants who register prior to April 9, 2026 are eligible for event t-shirts; t-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. Virtual participation is available with free registration; virtual participants who raise $75 or more by April 9, 2026 will receive event t-shirts by event day.
Fundraising is a central element of the event. The NBTS Accelerator Club recognizes individuals who raise funds, with a $250 Accelerator level that confers recognition and incentives. Higher fundraising tiers include additional benefits and day-of privileges. Teams that reach fundraising milestones by May 1 can receive course signs or a team tent.
