The Kiwanis El Segundo PTA Run for Education takes place in April 2026 in El Segundo, California. The event offers multiple race distances and youth fun runs. Course, timing and services
The 5K is a loop through local neighborhoods on closed streets with easy-to-moderate hills; the 10K follows the 5K loop twice. Courses are USATF certified and the event is USATF sanctioned. Chip timing is used. Mile markers and multiple water stations are provided. The start and finish are at El Segundo High School, 640 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245. The event is held rain or shine.
Awards and benefits
All 5K, 10K and Fun Run participants receive custom die cast finisher medals. Registrants receive a custom race t-shirt while supplies last and a goodie bag. Awards include trophies for top 3 overall male and female in 5K and 10K and medals for top 3 in age categories across a wide range.
