Kiwanis El Segundo PTA Run for Education 5K/10K, El Segundo CA
The Kiwanis El Segundo PTA Run for Education 5K/10K is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, with the start and finish at El Segundo High School, 640 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245. The 5K is an easy-to-moderate hill loop through local neighborhoods on closed streets; the 10K follows the 5K loop twice. The event is USATF sanctioned (26-33-160500) and uses certified courses (CA21007TEB and CA21021TEB).
Pre-race packet pickup is available Thursday, April 23, 5pm to 8pm, and Friday, April 24, 11am to 7pm. Online registration has a price increase at midnight April 13, 2026. Chip timing, mile markers, and multiple water stations are provided. A large post race finish line expo is part of the event. The event will be held rain or shine.
All 5K, 10K and Fun Run participants receive custom die cast finisher medals. All registrants receive a custom race t-shirt while supplies last and a goodie bag. Awards include top three overall male and female trophies for the 5K and 10K and medals for top three in multiple age categories, with team type winners receiving special medals.
Youth 10 and under who register for the 5K receive a free Fun Run entry. Proceeds benefit the El Segundo Unified Schools, supporting students pre-K through 12th grade. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
