El Segundo PTA Run for Education
The El Segundo PTA Run for Education takes place in El Segundo on April 25, 2026. Hosted by the El Segundo PTA Council, the event includes organized road races and kids fun runs that follow USATF certified courses (sanction no. 26-33-160500). The course winds through downtown El Segundo and surrounding neighborhoods in a mild coastal climate.

Both the 5K and 10K award medals to the top three finishers in each age group. All participants receive finisher medals. The event is part of the USATF Southern California Grand Prix series.
Pre-race bib and shirt pickup is at Easton Gym, 505 Main St, El Segundo on Thursday, April 23, 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday, April 24, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. Race day packet pickup is also available between 6:30 and 7:50 am. The event relies on volunteers and offers multiple volunteer roles. Donations to the El Segundo Council of PTAs are tax deductible and support programs and projects in El Segundo Unified School District schools; the council is listed as a 501(c)(3), EIN 23-7024342.
