Pasadena Triathlon
The Pasadena Triathlon is scheduled for April 25, 2026 and will mark its 20th year at the Rose Bowl. The event offers multiple race formats on the same day, including triathlon, duathlon, a junior race, and a 5K fun run. A nonprofit partner, Angel City Sports, is associated with the event to support sports opportunities for people with physical disabilities.
Race day programming includes individual and team relay options, course maps, packet pickup, event parking and road closure information, and race day FAQs. Packet pickup in advance is optional. Every finisher receives a race t-shirt and a finisher medal; specific designs will be announced later.
Volunteer roles include providing water and food, directing participants on course, and general race support. Volunteers receive refreshments and event items.
Event race formats and typical distances include:
- Reverse Triathlon: 3 Mile run, 9 mile bike, 150 Meter swim
- Angel City 5K: 3 Mile run
- Junior Triathlon: 0.5 Mile run, 1.5 mile bike, 25 to 50 Meter swim
- Duathlon: 3 Mile run, 3 mile bike, 3 Mile run
- Relay teams: 2 to 3 person teams for triathlon or duathlon
