Southampton Running Festival
The Southampton Running Festival takes place on 30 May 2027 with start and finish on Southampton Common. The route passes through woodland, grassland, ponds, wetlands, lakes and open parkland in the heart of the city. Southampton Common is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and forms the main event setting.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon minimum age 17
- 10k minimum age 15
- 5k minimum age 11
- Junior race maximum age 11
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and bag drop. A three-hour cut-off applies. Race pack collection is handled on the day from the event village; runners are asked to bring booking confirmation and photo ID.
Event logistics note limited parking at the common with additional city centre car parks within walking distance. There will be portable toilets in the event village and water provided during each lap and at the finish.
