Event Overview
The ABP Southampton Marathon Festival is a multi-distance running event taking place on May 3rd, 2026, in Southampton. The event has been running for over ten years. It is considered one of the largest running events on the South Coast.

The 2026 edition marks the beginning of a five-year "Penta Series." Finishers in this year's event will receive a medal and t-shirt that form the first part of a larger design; collecting medals from each year in the series will eventually create a complete Hampshire Rose image by 2030.
Additional Information
Charity fundraising is a significant part of the event. Official charity partners include Macmillan Cancer Support and Southampton Hospitals Charity. The event features a warm-up led by David Lloyd Southampton, pacers, and a post-race "After Party" with live music. A historic Spitfire aircraft is scheduled to perform a flypast at the start line.
