Southampton Firecracker 8K & 3 Miler
The Southampton Firecracker is an annual road event held in Agawam Park in Southampton, New York. The event offers two course options: an 8 kilometer race and a 3 mile walk, both starting and finishing at Agawam Park, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton, NY 11969.
Registration is not yet open and is scheduled to open ahead of the event date. Packet pickup and race day registration take place the morning of the event; registrants are advised to know their bib number for pickup or use the self lookup area. Registrations completed within 24 hours of pickup require a confirmation email on phone or in print to be assigned a bib. Registering at least three weeks in advance allows for a personalized race number.
Amenities include light refreshments, a DRI TECH tee for all registrants, live online/text/email results, and free finish photos and video. Results are available live online and via email or text. The 8K field receives awards only: all 8K participants earn a medal on a ribbon, top three male and female overall earn trophies, and age-group awards are given for the following categories: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. There are no awards or age groups for the 3 mile walk.
