Southampton Firecracker 8K & 3 Miler : 2026
The 35th Annual Southampton Firecracker 8K & 3 Miler is scheduled for September 6, 2026, at Agawam Park in Southampton, New York. The event offers two distances:
- 8K Run
- 3 Mile Run/Walk
Registration details on the event page list typical fees around $35 plus processing, with a sample total of $38.98 including transaction fees. All registrants receive a Dri Tech tee and can expect light refreshments, live online results by text/email, and free finish-line photos. Packet pickup and race-day registration are held on the morning of the event; participants who register at least three weeks before race day may have their names printed on bibs.
Awards apply to the 8K only: all 8K finishers receive a medal on a ribbon, overall top three men and women earn trophies, and age-group awards are listed online across categories from 9 & Under through 80+. There are no awards or age groups for the 3 Mile. The event supports the Southampton Rotary Scholarship & Endowment Fund and accepts additional donations.
