Southampton Firecracker 8K & 3 Miler 2026
The Southampton Firecracker 8K & 3 Miler is the 35th annual running event held on July 5, 2026 at Agawam Park in Southampton, New York. The event is presented in memory of Roy Wines Jr. and benefits the Southampton Rotary Scholarship and Endowment Fund.
The event offers two course options and starts and finishes at Agawam Park. All registrants receive a DRI TECH tee. Amenities include light refreshments, live online, text and email results, and free finish-line photos. Packet pickup and race day registration occur the morning of the event; registrants who enter at least three weeks before race day have their name printed on their bib.
Registration fees are listed with processing fees included; standard registration options show a base fee and a transaction fee that make the early total $33.80. Entry choices include separate entries for the 8K and the 3 Mile run/walk. Team entry is optional and may not have affiliated awards. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Awards apply to the 8K only: all 8K finishers receive a medal on a ribbon, top three men and women overall receive trophies, and top three men and women in listed age groups receive awards.
