Pumpkinfest 5K Run at Island Lake
The event is a 5K running race that will use the Island Lake State Recreation Area cross country course on the shores of Kent Lake. The course is grass, will have a painted guiding line, and will be monitored by marshals. Race timing is provided by professional timing.
For 2026 Pontiac Trail is unavailable; organizers note that Pontiac Trail is expected to be newly paved for 2027. The Pumpkinfest Festival will be held at a temporary 2026 location at Bartlett Elementary in South Lyon, and participants receive tickets redeemable at that festival site.
Registration opens on June 18, 2026 and closes on September 10, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Packet pickup and registration are organized at the blue tent on the Kent Lake beach.
