9/11 Heroes Run - Ann Arbor, Michigan
The 9/11 Heroes Run in Ann Arbor takes place on 09/20/2026 at Burnham House, 1610 Washington Heights, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The event brings together runners, ruckers, and walkers to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, while activating and uniting local communities and empowering veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and families of the fallen.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K running division
- 5K ruck division
The ruck division is presented in partnership with GORUCK and is based on a sport that involves walking or running while carrying a weighted rucksack, modeled on special forces training. Participants registered for the GORUCK division will receive that year’s exclusive TMF GORUCK patch. The muscular and walking divisions are open to individuals and families of different fitness levels.
A volunteer option is included, with no registration fee. Registration fees for the participant divisions are listed as $36.00 for the 5K run and $41.00 for the 5K ruck.
