Course and format
The event includes the following distances:

The 10 km run starts at about 5,500 feet above sea level and follows rolling single track, technical sections, grassy double track, a steep climb known as Hell Hill, ski trails, and the Hammered Cow single track back to transition. The 16 km bike leg uses mostly blue-level trails with short black sections, and includes the Soup 2 Nutz trail, Coffee Grinder, and the climb to Raw Bones, with fast descents and rugged climbs.
Logistics and rules
Aid stations are fully stocked and a first aid attendant is based at the start-finish area.
