Soup 2 Nutz - Silver Star Provincial Park
Soup 2 Nutz is a multi-sport event at Silver Star Provincial Park, held at the Sovereign Lake Nordic Center stadium on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event can be entered solo or as a team relay. The format combines a trail run that begins at about 5,500 feet above sea level with a mountain bike leg that follows. Course features for the run include rolling single track, technical sections, grassy double track, a named climb called Hell Hill, ski trails and the Hammered Cow single track. The bike course uses mostly blue-level trails with short black sections, and includes the Soup 2 Nutz trail, Coffee Grinder climb and the Raw Bones push, with a mix of descents and climbs.

Logistics, safety and entries
Package pickup takes place at Sovereign Lake Nordic Center and includes a custom race T-shirt, race bib, complimentary photos, a gift item and a finisher prize. Aid stations are fully stocked and a first aid attendant will be located at the start/finish area. Mandatory equipment includes a minimum 500 ml water reservoir and a small amount of emergency food; helmets are required while on or near a bike. Team relays use a token handover system at transition and finish; losing the token can result in disqualification. Registration opens November 1st and a mid-June 2026 registration deadline applies for guaranteed race bag and T-shirt.
