About the race
Soup 2 Nutz is a community focused trail duathlon held on the Predator Ridge Resort trails, based at the Ellison Landing area in Vernon, BC. The event offers combined running and mountain biking on marked trails through Ellison Provincial Park and nearby resort terrain. Entries can be solo or team, and e bikes are allowed in a designated category.
Distances:
- 10 km Trail Run
- 10 km Mountain Bike or e bikes
The event permits entry for runners only, bike only, or both as a duathlon. Participants must sign required waivers for both the resort and the event organizer before collecting race packages. Helmets are mandatory for all bike participants and a minimum of 500 ml of water on bike and run is required. Aid stations will provide water, Tailwind, and some small snacks and racers must bring their own cup.
Entry fees listed for early registration include CAN $15 for solo entries and CAN $30 for team duathlon entries. No refunds are provided. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each event. Race rules emphasize staying on the trail, no littering, respect for volunteers and other users, and compliance with marshal instructions for safety.
