Season's Edge Trail Run
The Season's Edge Trail Run is a spring trail event on March 6, 2027, staged at Predator Ridge and routed through North Okanagan and Ellison Provincial Park trails near Vernon, BC. The event offers two measured courses through forested singletrack and rolling terrain.
Distances:
- 6 km course with shorter distance and gentler profile.
- 10 km course with more elevation, technical descents, and longer rhythm.
Course notes describe flowing singletrack, packed dirt, mud, and possible light snow in shaded sections. Runners should expect a notable climb and some technical downhill on the 10 km route. Trail shoes with solid grip are recommended. The course is marked with flagging, tape, powder, and signs; marshals will staff intersections and checkpoints.
Event services include water and Tailwind at the start/finish area, small snacks, washrooms near the start/finish, and a post-race meal (chili, hotdogs, and non-alcoholic beverages) included for registered participants. The event is cupless; participants must bring their own drinking container.
Entry fee is listed as $15 plus applicable taxes and platform fees. Organizers require signed waivers before race day and state there are no refunds; a third-party Refund Guarantee product is described separately. The event runs under park rules: stay on trail, no littering, and obey course marshals. The organizer may cancel or shorten the race for safety reasons.
