SOS - North Rocks : Saturday Orienteering Series
This event is an additional Saturday Orienteering Series meeting held at North Rocks Public School, 359 North Rocks Road, North Rocks NSW. It is listed as a bonus seventh SOS event for term 2; term passes and Adventure Running Squad memberships do not cover this extra event and separate entry is required to participate.
Courses offered include Warm Up (recommended for beginners), Short Line, Long Line, and Score. Entrants may run more than one course on the day. SPORTident electronic timing is used for all courses; participants who do not own a SPORTident card can hire one for A$4 per entrant.
Standard entry fees are A$18 for adults and A$15 for primary and secondary school students. Club orienteering members are eligible for a 15% member discount using the promo code ONSW at checkout. A late entry surcharge of A$2 applies if entry is made after midday on the Thursday before the event. Prices include GST and merchant fees.
A free Buddy ticket is available for adults who wish to accompany a young or inexperienced participant without receiving a personal timing chip or map. Meeting point for the event is North Rocks Public School at the address above.
