Cooks River Fun Run
The Cooks River Fun Run takes place on 28 June 2026 at Freshwater Park in Strathfield, NSW. The route follows the Bay to Bay Cycleway adjacent to the Cooks River and is described as a flat and fast course.

- 2 km Family Dash
All finishers receive a themed finisher medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher certificate. All distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. A photographer will be present on the course and photos will be posted after the race. The road crossing at Morgan Place is closed to traffic on race day and managed by accredited traffic controllers.
There is a 1 hour cut-off for the 5 km and a 1 hour and 45 minute cut-off for the 10 km. The 2 km Family Dash allows an accompanying adult for an additional $10; the accompanying adult will not be timed and will not receive a finisher medal. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out; to have a name on a bib, registration must be completed at least three weeks before the event. Parking is available on Wilson Street and Ada Avenue and the Bus 483 stop is about 200 m from Freshwater Park. Organisers note that other pedestrians and cyclists use the paths.
