BYD HYROX Sydney
BYD HYROX Sydney is a multi-day fitness race held from 1 to 5 July 2026 at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW. The race format pairs running with functional workouts: athletes complete eight 1 km running segments interspersed with eight workout stations. Competition options include individual divisions in Open and Pro, doubles divisions including Open and Pro, mixed and single-sex relay teams, and Adaptive divisions.
Event entries include a race wristband that grants venue access only on the participant’s race day; separate spectator tickets are required for entry on other days. The event provides on-course hydration, individual finisher times with split timings for each workout, leaderboard results posted during competition, and a finisher patch. Age group award ceremonies are held in each division and certain age groups in Pro divisions can earn qualification slots for the World Championships. Professional race photography is available through the official partner.
Ticketing offers two optional flex products. The Flex Add-On permits name changes up to one day before the athlete’s race day and refunds of 100% up to 31 days before the race day or 50% up to 7 days before the race day. The Flex Lite allows name changes up to one day before the race day but does not provide refunds. Name changes must be made via the athlete’s HYROX Account by 7:59 AM event timezone on the permitted day. Transfers to other events or division changes are not available.
Athlete check-in requires ID and cannot be completed by another person. Other on-site details such as check-in times and final start waves are to be confirmed before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
