Sorbrook Tough 10K 2026
The Sorbrook Tough 10K is a road race organised by Griffithstown Harriers on 15 July 2026. The course runs near Llandegfedd Lake and travels through rolling hills with notable climbs, including The Darren and Sluvad Road.
The race start is listed at Tre-Herbert Rd, Cwmbran NP44 2BZ. Headquarters and number collection are located at Gwent Crematorium, with parking at the same site noted as to be confirmed. A bag drop will be available at HQ but all items are left at the runner's own risk.
Event services include a water station on the route, a safe well-marshalled course, and medical and rescue cover. Headphones and in-ear devices are prohibited except for bone conduction headphones; runners found using head or in-ear devices may be asked to withdraw.
Entry fees are £15 for affiliated club members and £17 for non-affiliated club members. Runners must be 16 or older on the day of the race. Total places are capped at 500 and the event holds a Welsh Athletics permit pending.
All finishers receive a Sorbrook Slog and Tough 10k drawstring bag with goodies. Prizes include trophies for first, second and third male and female, age-category prizes for 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+, and a trophy for King and Queen of The Darran.
