Sorbrook Tough 10k 2026
The Sorbrook Tough 10 km is a road race organised by Griffithstown Harriers on 15 July 2026. The course runs near Llandegfedd Lake and passes through rolling hills with notable climbs including The Darren and Sluvad Road, which include significant elevation changes.
The event uses Tre-Herbert Road in Cwmbran NP44 2BZ for the race start and lists the Gwent Crematorium as the event headquarters. Parking and bib collection are noted as available at the Gwent Crematorium though some details remain to be confirmed. A bag drop facility will be provided at HQ with all items left at the owner’s risk.
Entry fees are shown as £15 for affiliated club members and £17 for non-affiliated club members. Runners must be aged 16 or older on the day of the race. The field is limited to 500 places and the event status is open.
Course provisions include a water station on the route, a well-marshalled course, and medical and rescue cover. Headphones and in-ear devices are prohibited except for bone conducting headphones. All finishers receive a Sorbrook Slog and Tough 10k drawstring bag with goodies. Age-category and overall prizes are planned with one prize per person. A permit from Welsh Athletics is pending.
