Event overview
This is an annual family fun run and festival held at Dellwood Park, 1811 Lawrence Ave., Lockport, IL 60441. The event is organized as a celebration of a life and legacy and is not a timed or chipped race. After the runs there will be vendors, food trucks, and family activities.
Two running events are offered:
- 2 Miles for ages 16 and up, fee $30.
- 1 Mile Kids Dash for ages 16 and under, fee $16.
The 2 Mile course includes incline running. Children may run the 2 Mile when accompanied by an adult. The day includes check in, opening remarks, the 2 Mile run followed by the Kids Dash, and a post-run festival with family activities such as a bounce house and face painting.
Registration opens May 22, 2026. Early registration through August 15 guarantees a shirt. Registration for the 2 Mile closes August 16, 2026. Additional event details and a timeline are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
