SOO 200 - Eastern Canada's first 200-miler
The event takes place at 194 Pickard Road, Goulais River, Ontario, Canada, on September 11, 2026. The SOO 200 highlights the land and waters of the Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma area and is billed as Eastern Canada's first 200-mile race.

The course is a mix of single track, double track, dirt road, cross-country and occasional bushwhacking. Although the course is prescribed, there are short sections requiring route finding. On the 200 mile course, checkpoints are spaced roughly every 20 to 40 km depending on the section. Competitors in the 200 mile division are required to carry a Garmin inReach supplied by the organizer for navigation and safety.
The 100 mile and 50 km start at Stokely Creek Lodge. The 100 km consists of two loops of the 50 km course. Pacers must register separately and sign a waiver. For the 200 mile entry there is an option to pay in two installments: a 50% deposit at registration and the balance due on May 22; paying after May 22 incurs a 10% price increase.
