General Information

The Community Strong Race Weekend takes place on June 20-21, 2026 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The start location is at 50 Pim Street. This event marks the fifth annual edition.

Races Offered

A variety of races are scheduled throughout the weekend:

A Boston qualifying marathon.
A half-marathon.
A 10 km run.
A 5 km colour run.
A kids fun run.

The BP 61KM Challenge involves participating in a series of races over three days, including a 3.8k community run on Friday evening.

Event Purpose

The event is designed to raise funds and awareness for physical and mental health challenges. All funds raised support the AFS Foundation and its mission to support mental health in Sault Ste.
