Sonning Common 10k
The Sonning Common 10k is a charity running event organised by volunteers to raise money for athletics facilities at Sonning Common Primary School. It is a chip timed 10 km run that starts and finishes at Sonning Common Primary School and leads runners through the village before continuing on quieter country lanes in South Oxfordshire.
All proceeds support a project to install an all weather track around the school field. The mud free track is intended to support regular activity for pupils, including the Daily Mile where each child and staff member walk or run a mile on a regular basis. The event is run to raise funds for these school facilities.
