Dorney Lake Duathlon
The Dorney Lake Duathlon takes place at an Olympic venue in Windsor. The event features a flat course for both the cycling and running segments, held on road terrain within the grounds of the lake. The disciplines are accurately marked with distance flags, and marshals are positioned along the route to provide guidance. Participants receive chip-timed results for their effort.
Participants can choose from several individual distance options or compete as part of a relay team. The relay option allows two or three individuals to share the different disciplines of the race. The event includes an event village area with food and drink options for attendees.
Available distances include:
- Super Sprint: 2.5 km run, 9.5 km bike (2 laps), and 2.5 km run.
- Sprint: 5 km run, 19 km bike (4 laps), and 2.5 km run.
- Standard: 10 km run, 38 km bike (8 laps), and 5 km run.
All participants receive a themed medal, free race photos, and post-race refreshments at the finish line. The course is designed to be accessible for those seeking a personal best due to the lack of significant elevation changes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
