Dinton Santa Dash - overview
The Dinton Santa Dash is a festive fun run organised by Barnes Fitness at Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst, Wokingham. The event is in its ninth year and supports First Days Children’s Charity, with £2 from every entry donated to the charity. The organiser states that every £120 raised will buy a complete bed for a child, including frame, mattress, duvet, two pillows and linen. The event offers child and adult entry categories. Child entries are for those aged 15 and under on the event date; adult entries are for those aged 16 and over. Specific entry price ranges listed are: 2 km child £9–£12, 2 km adult £13–£16, 5 km child £13–£16, and 5 km adult £17–£20. Every entrant receives a unisex trouser Santa suit, an event number, a Christmas medal and a mince pie or chocolate. Free event photos are available to download after the event. There is no minimum age, but all under 8s must be accompanied by a registered adult in the 2 km and all under 11s must be accompanied by a registered adult in the 5 km.
