Some Run, Seagoville, Texas
Some Run is the sixth annual event held on October 3, 2026 at Bruce Central Park in Seagoville, Texas. The event raises funds for the A-T Children’s Project to support research and services for ataxia telangiectasia. Proceeds benefit the organization and a Faces of A-T display will be present.
Participants can choose among several participation options:
- Timed 5K run with cash prizes for top three male and female finishers
- Untimed 5K walk and roll
- Shuffle around the park pond
Packet pick-up is centered at the park gazebo and packets include a goody bag with an event t-shirt and race bib. There are virtual participation options with and without shirts and medals, and a stay in bed registration option without apparel.
Event amenities include free parking in a large lot, volunteer traffic direction, a free gear check at the gazebo, an awards ceremony, and post-event activities such as arm wrestling, raffles, live music, food trucks, and carnival rides as part of Seagofest. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine. Note that participants registering after September 1, 2026 may not receive a shirt or medal.
