Some Run
The 6th annual Some Run takes place in Seagoville, Texas on October 3, 2026 at Bruce Central Park (1801 N Hwy 175). The event raises funds for the A-T Children’s Project and includes on-site displays about the Faces of A-T.
Event formats offered include:
- 5K run (timed)
- 5K walk/roll (untimed)
- Shuffle around the pond (leisurely stroll)
- Virtual walk/roll/shuffle options with and without shirt and medal
- A "Stay in bed" participation option without shirt or medal
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the timed 5K. Packets include an event t-shirt and race bib; shirts and medals may not be guaranteed for registrations after September 1, 2026. Packet pick-up is available at the park gazebo; a free gear check is provided on site. A large free parking lot serves participants.
On-site activities and amenities listed for the event include raffles, arm wrestling, complimentary Starbucks coffee and tea, complimentary Chick-fil-A Chicken Minis, and post-event activities at Seagofest, which features live music, food trucks, and carnival rides.
