Sombrero Running organizes the Sombrero Ultra Running Festival at the Clay County Regional Sports Complex in Middleburg, FL. The event offers a set of timed ultrarunning options across a weekend with both individual and relay entries.

- 12 hour day
- 12 hour night
- 24 hour
- 48 hour individual
- 48 hour relay teams 2 to 4 persons
The course uses a shorter loop with a single aid station located at the start and finish area; runners will pass the aid station twice on each loop. This is a cupless event so all runners must bring their own bottles, hydration vests with bladders, or collapsible cups. Aid station supplies listed for prior years include water, Skratch electrolytes, soda, fruit, hot food items and a variety of snacks and savory options.
Onsite services and logistics noted for the event include footcare services provided by an experienced ultramarathon specialist, medical personnel available for the full 48 hour period with emergency medicine and physical therapy experience, a runner village for tents and crews, and RV parking for a fee paid at the site. Custom technical shirts are offered and to guarantee a shirt entrants must register by January 23. There are no refunds for this event.
