Festivus 100/50 Miler Trail Run - middleburg, FL
The Festivus event offers multiple trail distances on a scenic 7.2-mile loop with about 225 feet of elevation gain and loss. Participants may complete 14, 7, 5, 2, or 1 loops to cover the various race distances. The course passes through long leaf pines and palmettos, includes two footbridges, and passes through a campground area where an aid station is located.

Aid provisions include a main aid station at the start/finish with water, Skratch hydration mixes, and hot food options; a fully stocked aid station at the campground around the 4-mile mark; and an unmanned hydration igloo at the 2-mile point. The race is cupless; runners should bring a handheld bottle or hydration pack. Course markings will be clear and illuminated; runners who begin a new loop after 5pm must carry a headlamp.
Pacing and campsite rules are specified: 100-mile runners may have one pacer after 50 miles; runners over 60 years old may have a pacer at any time; no pacers are allowed for the 14, 35, or 50 mile distances. Ten campsites along the loop are available for weekend reservation through the organizer for a fee.
