The main route starts at the park gazebo, follows the Rock Creek Trail to a turnaround point and returns to the gazebo. The children’s route also starts at the gazebo, goes around the playground along the sidewalk by Meadowbrook Lane, continues 286 m before turning right onto Rock Creek Trail and runs alongside the baseball fields back to the gazebo.
Participants collect a race packet at the venue that includes a bib and small gifts from organizers and partners; all finishers receive a medal shaped like the republic. On-site facilities include a covered gazebo and chemical toilets. Grilling will be available at the location. Free parking is possible along Meadowbrook Lane.
