Sokolský běh republiky – Ottawa
Sokolský běh republiky in Ottawa takes place on 27. 9. 2026 at Mooney's Bay Park. The event is held in a "závod" format, which means time may not be measured by an electronic timing device; results and winner announcements are still provided.
Each participant collects a race pack at the event area containing a race number and small gifts from partners. All finishers receive a medal shaped like the republic.
The main course runs around the park, which has an approximately 300 m long beach. Surfaces include mainly grass, some sand and asphalt along a cycle path. The route passes a small grove and a minor hill, creating varied terrain.
