Running Room New Year's Run - Ottawa

The Running Room New Year's Run in Ottawa takes place on January 11, 2026 at the Running Room on Bank Street, Ottawa, ON, Canada. This is the 41st annual New Year’s Run. The event will be held in person in select cities and also offers a virtual option. Fundraising proceeds will support the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in each event city. The event day includes a 1K and a 5K race.

Entries and participant items

All in-person 5K participants receive a New Years Run souvenir and a finishers medal; the souvenir item is TBA. Each 1K runner receives a finishers medal. Virtual 5K registrants receive a souvenir and finishers medal; shipping is available for an additional fee of $13.99 and shipping is not offered outside of Canada.
