Run Ottawa's Annual 5K Light Run
Run Ottawa's Annual 5K Light Run is a community event of 5 km held in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. The event is scheduled for Thursday, December 10 with the gathering point at Ottawa City Hall, Laurier Ave. entrance.
Participants are asked to wear holiday costumes and to bring lights and reflective gear. Runners and walkers will be organized into designated pace groups.
A route is posted on Strava and a map will be made available soon. Attendees are asked to follow the provided map and to abide by pedestrian traffic rules while on the route to maintain safety.
Donations for the Ottawa Food Bank are accepted online. On the night of the event, non-perishable food items and cash donations will be accepted in person. The date may change if weather conditions are not favourable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
