Run Ottawa's Annual 5K Light Run

Run Ottawa's Annual 5K Light Run is a festive 5K event held in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. The event takes place on Thursday, December 10 at Ottawa City Hall, Laurier Ave. entrance.

Participants are asked to dress for the weather and may wear holiday costumes. Carrying lights and reflective gear is recommended to improve visibility. Runners and walkers will head out in designated pace groups.

A route is posted on Strava and a map will be available soon. Participants should follow the map and obey pedestrian traffic rules while moving through the downtown area.

Donations for the Ottawa Food Bank are being accepted online; non perishable items and cash donations will be accepted in person on the night of the event. The date may change if weather conditions are not favourable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
