SoCal's Pirate's 5K/10K Run/Walk : Long Beach Shoreline Park
This event on June 20, 2026 is a pirate-themed running event at Long Beach Shoreline Park. Multiple distances are offered and the course uses a paved coastal path with ocean views. The route is described as flat and fast and wide enough for general shared use; the public also uses the path, including cyclists and other walkers. Organizers note the course may not be easy for pets and that families using strollers do so at their own risk.

Each registered participant receives a race bib, event T-shirt, and a finisher medal; bibs must be visible at the finish to receive a medal. Chip timing is provided. Awards include top three overall male and female trophies, age-division awards in five-year spans through 85 and over, and awards for best dressed pirate-themed outfits. Early packet pickup is scheduled for June 19, 2026 at Sports Basement in Long Beach (2100 N Bellflower Blvd). The event is planned to proceed in all weather conditions.
