Event Overview
The SoCal's Pirate's 10k Run - Long Beach is a pirate-themed running event held at Long Beach Shoreline Park. Participant Perks & Details
All registered participants receive a custom pirate-themed finisher medal, a pirate-themed event T-shirt, and a custom race bib. The event is chip-timed. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three in numerous age divisions spanning five-year increments up to 85 and over. There are also awards for the top three best-dressed pirate-themed outfits.
Atmosphere & Schedule
The event emphasizes a festive, pirate-themed atmosphere with entertainment. A character named Captain Jack/Jack Sparrow is scheduled to perform fencing demonstrations, lead warm-ups, and start races. A mass start is scheduled for the 5K and 10K events.
