Wrigley River Run : Long Beach, CA
The Wrigley River Run is a community road race event held on June 5, 2027 in Long Beach, California. The start, finish, expo area and bib pick up are located in the parking lot of Westland Real Estate Group / Long Beach Beer Lab at 520 W Willow St, Long Beach, CA 90806. The event is organized by the Long Beach Neighborhood Foundation and uses proceeds to benefit youth organizations in Long Beach and nearby communities.
Race options include several distances and family events:
- 10 Mile Run Walk
- Half Marathon Combo totaling 13.1 miles includes 5K and 10 Mile entries
- 10K Run Walk
- 5K Run Walk
- 5K Stroller Run Walk with a separate start for stroller participants
- Tadpole Trot 1K for ages 10 and under
- Tadpole Trot 300 Yard for very young children
The Half Marathon Combo awards a half marathon time plus times for the included 5K and 10 Mile and provides a bonus medal; there are no age group awards for the Combo and entrants must be able to complete the 10 Mile in 90 minutes or less. The 10 Mile course cutoff is 2 hours 40 minutes which requires about a 16 minute per mile pace. Tadpole events are not timed; participants receive a medal, shirt, bib and post race pizza and other food. Youth pricing of $10 applies for ages 17 and under for the 5K and 10K.
