Event overview
The Snowball 5K takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114. The event offers both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K. The course is USATF certified and runs through Etowah River Park and back. Finishers receive a custom race bib and a Snowball 5K log sleeve shirt; there is an option to have the long sleeve mailed for an additional fee.

Logistics, awards and policies
Post-race refreshments include donuts, muffins, coffee and a hot chocolate bar with toppings. True Speed Photo will provide race photography and images are available for free download after the race. Water will be available at the start/finish area; there will be no on-course aid stations, so participants are advised to carry their own hydration. Course marshals and directional arrows will be on course. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted but should start toward the back of the field.
Awards are given to overall male and female, masters and grand masters, and the top three males and females in age groups: 0-9; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+.
No refunds are issued. Entries may be transferred through December 7, 2025, with a $3 processing fee. Sponsors include Fleet Feet and Orangetheory Fitness. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
