Hop Into Spring 5K
The Hop Into Spring 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Kennesaw, Georgia. The event starts and finishes at the Zama Mexican Cuisine restaurant on Cobb Place Lane.
Participants have several registration options, including a standard 5K, a "5K-No Shirt" option, and a Virtual 5K. The course is described as smooth and flat, making it accessible for runners and walkers. Self-serve water stations are available approximately every 1.5 miles.
All participants registered by March 11, 2026, are guaranteed a race shirt in their requested size. The event also provides custom bibs and a finisher medal for every participant.
Awards are given based on gun time. They recognize the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in the Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Senior Masters (60+) categories. The top three athletes in traditional five-year age groups, starting from 10 & under up to 80+, also receive awards.
The Georgia House Rabbit Society, a rabbit rescue organization, is the official charity partner for the 2026 event. The race offers a volunteer program with an incentive, and the RaceJoy mobile app is available for live tracking and cheers during the event.
