Snake Lane 10 Mile Road Race : Pocklington, East Yorkshire

The Snake Lane 10 Mile Road Race is a closed-road running event in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. The course is described as a fairly flat, fast 10 mile route that includes a winding stretch through East Yorkshire countryside at the foot of the Wolds. The race has a 2 hour 30 minute time limit and marshals, a sweep vehicle and tail runners are part of the event support; transport to the finish can be arranged for runners who cannot complete the course within the time limit.

An extensive cash prize list is offered. First male and female receive £250 each with an additional £250 available if the course record is broken. Second and third places for men and women receive £70 and £60 respectively. First veteran male and female receive £30. The first club team prize for three to count is £45. Prize money and trophies must be collected at the awards ceremony held at the Race HQ, Pocklington Rugby Club. Medals and a race souvenir are provided to finishers.

Entries closed on 10th January 2026. The published entry fee for the race was £27.00. By entering, participants confirm they are over 17, accept the stated risk and time limit conditions, agree to UK Athletics anti-doping rules, and consent to publication of results and event photographs.
