The Snake Lane 10 Mile Road Race takes place on 22 February 2026 in Pocklington, East Yorkshire (Market Place, YO42 4AS). The race will be held for its 34th year on closed roads. The course is a 10 miles road route that is described as fairly flat with a winding stretch through East Yorkshire countryside at the foot of the Wolds. There is a race cut-off of 2 hours 30 minutes. Entrants confirm they are over 17 years of age. Editing of entry details and transferring entries closed on 31 January 2026.
Prizes, finishers and race operations
The event offers a cash prize list, including: first place male and female £250 (plus a further £250 if the course record is broken), second and third places £70/£60, first veteran male and female £30, and first club team (three to count) £45. Prize money and trophies must be collected at the awards ceremony at Race HQ (Pocklington Rugby Club). Finishers on the day receive medals and a race souvenir. If a runner cannot finish within the time limit, marshals, a sweep vehicle or tail runners can be advised and transport can be arranged to the finish; timing mats and some marshals will be withdrawn after the race cut-off.
