Snake Lane 10 Mile Road Race : Event details
The Snake Lane race takes place on 22nd February 2026 in Pocklington, East Yorkshire (Market Place, YO42 4AS). The event is a fairly flat, fast 10 mile road race with a winding stretch through East Yorkshire countryside at the foot of the Wolds. The course is run on closed roads and has a 2 hour 30 minute cut-off; after the cut-off no official times will be recorded. Finishers receive a medal and a race souvenir. Prize money and trophies must be collected at the awards ceremony held at the Race HQ, Pocklington Rugby Club.
Entry, prizes and rules
Standard race entry is £27.00. Entries close on 31st January 2026; the organiser may close entries earlier if the event reaches its limit. Entrants confirm they are over 17 years of age. The event offers a cash prize list, including: first male and female £250 (plus a further £250 if the course record is broken, with only the fastest competitor eligible for the additional prize), second and third places £70/£60, first veteran £30, and first club team (three to count) £45. Participants are subject to UK Athletics anti-doping rules. The organiser may publish personal information in results and use event photos on social media.
