Smoky Mountain Bigfoot 5K & Fun Run
The event takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Townsend, Tennessee, at the Peaceful Side Social Brewery & Craft Kitchen, 7967 E Lamar Alexander Parkway. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run (untimed)
Both races start and finish in front of the Peaceful Side Social. The course uses nearby backroads and a greenway, and finishes under an arch. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine; organizers note possible delays for heavy thunderstorms.
Logistics, entry and packet pickup
Registration shows a price of $54 (includes a $4 fee) and registration closes May 1, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT. Packet pickup is scheduled at three times and locations: Thursday, April 30 at Bigfoot in the Smokies (6:00–8:00 pm); Friday, May 1 at Peaceful Side Social (7:00–9:00 pm); and race-morning pickup at Peaceful Side Social starting at 7:00 am. Race entry includes a race T-shirt, a finisher medal with lanyard, a sticker, a race bib, free parking, and free entry to the Bigfoot Festival with a festival coin that must be surrendered at the gate. Pets are not allowed in either race. Strollers or wagons are allowed only in the 1 mile fun run. If a vehicle is moved after the race, a $25 parking fee may apply.
