Smokey Bear Run
The Smokey Bear Run takes place on September 19, 2026 at Recreation Point Day Use Area, 39900 Road 222, Bass Lake, California. The event marks the 39th year of the race and states that proceeds will return to the local community.
Courses run along Road 222 at the edge of Bass Lake. The 10K and 2 Mile courses include slightly rolling hills and views of the lake. A non competitive 2 Mile walk is offered and is explicitly not timed.

Registration for many events opened March 31, 2026; main in person events have a registration close date of July 31, 2026, kids races show a later close on September 19, 2026, and the virtual race registration closes September 20, 2026.
