Smilin' Rylen Run

This event is held in Katy, Texas at the University of Houston at Katy. It takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The run honors Rylen, a child remembered for his smile and whose organ donation saved five lives. The associated Smilin' Rylen Foundation aims to raise awareness about organ donation and support families in crisis. The color orange is associated with the event.

On race day, an awards ceremony is scheduled. Awards are given for the top 3 overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K, the top 3 overall finishers aged 18 and under in the 5K and 10K, the largest team, and the largest fundraising team.
