Slieve Martin event

Course, kit and controls

Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. All runners must bring these items. The final kit to be carried during the race will be decided on the day based on conditions and will be advised at registration. Failure to have the required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification; random checks may be carried out.

Entries and volunteering

To qualify for the end-of-year prize, a person must complete two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year.
