Sleigh It - Lake Wales, FL
Sleigh It is a loop-based running event held at Lake Wailes Park, organized by Ultra Ultras Events in Lake Wales, FL. The course uses 4.17 mile loops around Lake Wailes with a mix of grass and asphalt surfaces. Parking and the runners village are located at 33 N Lake Shore Blvd.
Race formats include:
- 4.17 mile one-lap event
- 6 hour timed event completing as many laps as possible in 6 hours
- 12 hour timed event completing as many laps as possible in 12 hours
- 12 hour relay teams of up to five members
Aid stations are positioned at each end of the out-and-back sections. Runners must finish the lap they are on for it to count toward their total. Relay teams have one member running at a time and may decide their own rotation. Teams must complete eight laps to receive a finish award; all team members receive the finish award. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 4.17 mile, 6 hour, and 12 hour events. Master awards are given to the top over-40 male and female runners. Relay awards go to the top two teams.
The event is limited to the first 100 entrants. All registered runners receive a long sleeve shirt; registering by Dec 1, 2026 guarantees shirt size. Food and concessions are available at the runners village. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
