About the race
The 2026 Sleigh Bell Strider 5k & 10k is set for December 12 at Barcroft Park in Arlington, along the paved Four Mile Run Trail. The course is scenic and includes a number of rolling hills. Both the 5k and the 10k are out and back routes; the 10k is not run as two laps.

The event is chip timed and participants receive a finisher’s medal and a technical DriFit event shirt. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for runners registered before December 2; extra shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, though sizes for shirts cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
Water stations: three on the 10k at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65, and one on the 5k at approximately mile 1.55; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Port a johns are available in the park. Live results will be posted on Athlinks with a QR code at the race; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Fall Series. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to top finishers in standard age groups. The event offers a virtual race option for those unable to attend in person.
