Slay the Dragon
Slay the Dragon is a trail running event held at Silver Star Mountain near Vernon, British Columbia. The event features multiple trail race formats with single-track sections, climbs, long descents, marked course sections and staffed aid stations.

- 2.5 km Kids Race
- Dragon Vertical Climb about 2 km, 480 m vertical gain
Race entries may include a custom race-day T-shirt if registered by May 15, 2026, a racer bib, a swag bag and a finisher prize. The event lists fully stocked aid stations, first aid coverage and volunteer support. On-site services include music, an expo, massage and food options such as burgers, salads and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; extra meal tickets are available through event registration.
The kids event Slay the Baby Dragon is a roughly 2.5 km out-and-back on the Cross Mountain Trail for ages 0 to 12. The kids race is timed but emphasizes participation; finishers receive a medallion and a goodie bag and parent participation is suggested for younger children.
