Slay the Dragon

Slay the Dragon is a trail running event held at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, BC, featuring distances of 50K, 25K, 13.6K, and a kids' 2.5K race called Slay the Baby Dragon. The course offers a mix of technical and cruisey single-track trails with challenging climbs and thrilling descents, designed for all skill levels. Participants enjoy a well-marked route, fully stocked aid stations, and enthusiastic volunteer support.

Additional features include a custom race shirt, swag bag, finisher prize, music, expo, and post-race food and beverages. A new Vertical Climb race challenges runners with a steep 2 km, 480 m elevation gain on unmarked terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
