Skyline Wales
Skyline Wales is a 102 km event with 4663 m of climb on a linear course between Barmouth and Llandegla One Planet. The route is described as a single long-distance route rather than laps.
Navigational skills are required and significant prior experience is expected. The minimum age for entry is over 21.
Entries are limited and will be vetted. There is an 18 hour maximum limit for completion and strict cut-offs are enforced at all checkpoints.
Support arrangements are required. A support car and driver are needed with a maximum of two runners per vehicle. A support runner option is recommended from leg 6 (60 km).
The published entry fee is £45 plus a voluntary donation to mountain rescue. The event is insured by the Welsh Fell Runners Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
