5K for Clean Water
This community event raises funds to provide sustainable water filters to families in Kenya. It features a timed 5K run/walk with age and gender awards, a paved accessible 1/2 mile Walk & Roll that is not timed, and a virtual 5K option that includes t-shirt shipping.
The in-person venue is Little Mulberry Park, Fence Road Entrance, 3855 Fence Rd NE, Auburn, GA 30011, USA. Registration benefits include a participant t-shirt, a giveaway ticket, and post-race drinks and snacks for in-person registrants. Some divisions include one t-shirt for the primary participant; additional shirts may be purchased separately. Virtual registrations include a shipping fee for the race t-shirt.
Event features and options:
- 5K run/walk, timed with medals for top finishers
- 0.5 mile Walk & Roll on a paved, wheelchair and stroller accessible loop
- 5K virtual option with t-shirt shipped after the event
Additional notes: a revised 2026 course removes a steep hill by using two out-and-back sections. A family registration option allows up to four members for a single fee. Participants may add a $100 donation for a water filter; direct filter purchases will be matched to a recipient family. Top overall finishers receive trophies and the 5K includes a medal ceremony and photobooth. The Walk & Roll division provides participation medals.
