Skylar's Run - 5K for Clean Water

Skylar's Run is a community fundraising event held at Little Mulberry Park in Auburn, GA on September 26, 2026. The event raises funds to provide sustainable water filters for families in Kenya and highlights that women and children in parts of East Africa commonly walk about 5K to fetch water that is often unsafe.

Event formats include:

• 5K run or walk, timed with medals and age/gender category awards.
• 0.5 mile Walk and Roll, paved and wheelchair and stroller accessible, untimed.
• 5K Virtual runner option, with race shirt shipped after the event.

Registration details vary by division. Standard inclusions across registrations are a race t-shirt for the primary participant, a giveaway ticket, and post-race drinks and snacks. Walk and Roll registration covers one primary participant plus one Race Buddy at no extra registration fee; a Race Buddy shirt can be purchased separately. Virtual registrations include shipping for the race shirt. Listed registration fees are available for each division.

Awards for the 5K include medals for the top three timed finishers in each age and gender category and trophies for the overall top three finishers for men and for women. A medal ceremony and photobooth opportunity will follow all events. Walk and Roll participants will receive participation medals in a special awards ceremony.

New for 2026: a revised course that removes a steep hill on the East Meadow loop, an optional $100 water filter donation that will be matched to a recipient family, a family registration option for up to four people for $100, team fundraising options, and an individual fundraising option.
