Skylar's Run - 5K for Clean Water
This event on 09/26/2026 at Little Mulberry Park, Fence Road Entrance in Auburn, GA, includes a community 5K run/walk, an accessible 0.5 mile Walk & Roll, and a virtual 5K. Funds raised support a Clean Water Program in Kenya and there is an add-on donation option to purchase a water filter that will be matched to a recipient family.
The 5K is a timed event with medals for the top finishers in each age and gender category and trophies for the overall top three men and top three women. A post-event medal ceremony and a photo opportunity with race leaders will follow the events. Race t-shirts are included for primary registrants; requested sizes may not be guaranteed after September 10, 2026.
The Walk & Roll division is held on a paved, wheelchair and stroller accessible 0.5 mile loop. It is not timed. Registration for this division covers one Primary Race Participant and one Race Buddy; an additional shirt for a Race Buddy may be purchased. The virtual 5K registration includes a mailed race t-shirt and supports the same Clean Water Program in Kenya.
New items for 2026 include a revised course with two out-and-back sections to eliminate a steep hill, family registration options, group/team fundraising, and individual fundraising opportunities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
