So You Think You Can Run HWDC Kids Fun Run & 5K
So You Think You Can Run takes place on 09/19/2026 at Aqualand Marina in Flowery Branch, GA. The event features a main 5K, a kids 1K fun run, and a virtual run option. Registration fees listed for the events are $25 for the 5K, $15 for the Kids Fun Run, and $25 for the Virtual Run.

The 5K course is described as flat, fast, and entirely on paved roads. That course is USATF certified and may be used as a qualifier for the 2022 Peachtree Road Race. The virtual option allows participants to submit a time from another location and includes a t-shirt for registrants.
Awards are given for Top Overall Male and Female and for Top Male and Female Masters 40 and over. Age-group awards are presented to the top three men and women in these brackets: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
All proceeds benefit the Heather Wayne Dance Company, a nonprofit that provides dance instruction and performance opportunities. T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners. Race day packet pickup is at the Dock Store. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
