Event Overview
The SKWC Boardwalk 5k is a running event scheduled for April 12, 2026. It is a fundraiser supporting the Rutgers Wrestling club, with proceeds going to the SKWC.

The event features two distances: a 5k Open Run/Walk and a 1 mile fun run/walk. It takes place in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, with the start and finish area at the Beachcomber on Ocean Terrace.
Course Details
The 5k course is a three-loop layout on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Participants start at the Beachcomber, head south to Sawmill and Stockton Avenue, and complete three laps of approximately 1.03 miles each. Runners are instructed to stay on the east side of the boardwalk, towards the ocean.
Registration and Awards
Registration is $45 until April 1, 2026, after which it increases to $50. A free shirt is included for registrations completed by April 1. Results in the 5k are based on age and gender categories, with the top three male and female runners in each age division receiving a ribbon. The 1-mile fun run also awards ribbons to the top three male and female participants in its specific age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
