The Six Foot Track Marathon is a challenging 45km trail race that traverses the scenic Blue Mountains, starting from the Explorer's Marked Tree near Katoomba and ending at the Jenolan Caves. Established in 1984, this not-for-profit event attracts over 1,100 participants each year, with all proceeds benefiting the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service, which operates the aid stations on race day.
