Event
The Six Foot Track Marathon is a trail marathon held on Saturday, 14 March 2026. The event follows the full length of the Six Foot Track, a trail that runs across the Blue Mountains from the Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba, to the Jenolan Caves. The race began in 1984 and is organised as a not-for-profit event. All profits are donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service, which provides volunteer firefighters to crew the aid stations on race day. The event typically has over 1,100 entrants completing the course each year.

The trail distance is 45 km along mountain and forest terrain. Entry options shown on the event page include Preferred Entry, Lottery Entry, and Deferred Entry from 2025, each listed with a registration fee of $240.
