Six Foot Track Marathon
The Six Foot Track Marathon is held on the Six Foot Track, a trail that runs for 45 km across the Blue Mountains. The route runs from the Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba, to the Jenolan Caves and follows the full length of the trail. The event began in 1984. It is organised as a not-for-profit event and all profits are donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service. The Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service also crews the aid stations on race day. Each year the event has over 1,100 entrants completing the course.

The 2026 race date is Saturday, 14 March 2026. Race entry is expected to open on Monday, 17 November 2025. Race partners and supporters named by the organiser include the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service and Sydney Striders.
