Six Foot Track Marathon

The Six Foot Track Marathon is a not for profit trail race that follows the full length of the Six Foot Track. The trail runs for 45 km across the Blue Mountains from the Explorer's Marked Tree near Katoomba to the Jenolan Caves. The event began in 1984 and follows the length of the entire trail.

All profits are donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service. Members of the Rural Fire Service crew the aid stations on race day. The race typically attracts more than 1,100 entrants who complete the course on race day.

Information about race day logistics is provided for participants and spectators, including aid stations, shuttle buses and parking, registration and bib collection, start line and finish line logistics, and spectator information. The event also lists partners and sponsors such as the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service, Tailwind Nutrition, Blue Mountains Running Co., CamelBak and local running groups.
