Six Foot Track Marathon

Website Registration

The Six Foot Track Marathon is a 45-kilometre trail race run in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. It follows the full length of the Six Foot Track from the Explorer’s Marked Tree near Katoomba to the Jenolan Caves. Established in 1984, the event is not-for-profit, with all profits donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service, which staffs the aid stations on race day.

Each year, more than 1,100 runners take on the course, a testing challenge through rugged terrain. In 2025 the race is run via a lottery system, with entries drawn for spots and no waitlist. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details! This page may contain affiliate links.
