Event overview
The Hounslow Classic is a weekend trail running event held in the Blue Mountains region within the Grose Valley Wilderness. The event is run over a weekend in September and is organised as multiple trail races and stage options. There is an event village at Allview Escape, 415-419 Hat Hill Rd, Blackheath NSW 2785.

The event programme includes:
- 42 km Hounslow Marathon
- 17 km Hounslow 17k There is also an option to enter both races as a combined stage event called the Hounslow Monster Stage race. A separate kids race is listed in the event programme.
Location and course features
Races use cliff-top trails and canyon tracks around Blackheath, including the Grand Canyon loop. The marathon includes an out-and-back section from Allview Escape to the Pinnacles via Perrys Lookdown and Lockleys Pylon. Course descriptions note steep, technical terrain, climbs, sandstone cliff tops, canyon trails and valley views. Aid station and safety information are provided in the event materials.
