Sittingbourne 10 Mile & 10k Road Race
The Sittingbourne 10 Mile & 10k Road Race is organised by Sittingbourne Striders and is based at Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne, Kent. The event marks the club's 40th anniversary and offers two measured road race distances.
The courses run through surrounding countryside and include rolling terrain with a few steeper sections; the route is described as challenging in places and offers rural views. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for download prior to the event.
Kent Science Park provides the race HQ with on-site facilities. The Hub café and restaurant will be open on the day, and there is an indoor registration area plus accessible toilets. Visitor car parks are available at the gatehouse and around the park.
The event raises funds for The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust, which supports the Neonatal Unit at Medway Maritime Hospital by funding specialised equipment and additional comforts for premature and poorly babies and their families.

Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, free parking and complimentary massages courtesy of The Oast.
