Sittingbourne 10 Mile & 10k Road Race - 4 October 2026
The Sittingbourne Striders annual road race offers two measured events held from Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne, Kent. The race marks the 40th anniversary of Sittingbourne Striders and runs on a course that passes through open countryside with rolling hills and rural views. Kent Science Park provides on-site facilities for runners and supporters, including a café and restaurant, an indoor registration area, accessible toilets and visitor parking. The event includes a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, complimentary massages and free parking for attendees.
The race raises funds for the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust, which supports the Neonatal Unit at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham. The charity contributes toward specialised equipment and services for premature and seriously ill babies; over 1200 babies pass through the unit each year.
