Sisu Backyard Ultra at Lake Rebecca
The Sisu Backyard Ultra at Lake Rebecca is scheduled for September 4, 2027 in Rockford, MN at 9831 Rebecca Park Trail. The event follows the backyard ultra format: runners complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour, on the hour, and must finish each loop and begin the next on time to remain in the race. There is no predetermined finish line.
The course is a repeated loop that combines gravel, asphalt, and trail surfaces. Runners return to a central corral at the top of each hour. A shared runner tent is located steps from the starting area for rest, gear changes, and organization. Food and refreshments are available near the corral.
The event includes on-site features such as a sauna and an option for a post-run swim. Volunteers support runners and crews throughout the event, and the race is livestreamed so those not on site can follow the hourly starts and on-course footage.
Registration for the event is listed as closing on August 29, and an offer price on the event page is $141.95 USD. The race description emphasizes the repeated loop format, the race atmosphere around the corral, and the mix of course surfaces that runners will encounter as hours and miles accumulate.
