Sista Strut Atlanta
Sista Strut Atlanta is a community 3K walk held on October 3, 2026 at The Works Upper Westside in Atlanta, GA. The event benefits the nonprofit I Will Survive, Inc. and lists The Works and Kroger as sponsors.
The event aims to heighten awareness of breast cancer in women of color and to provide information on community resources. The organizer notes that African American women in the U.S. have a higher death rate from breast cancer than white women, are more likely to be diagnosed before age 40, and are more likely to be diagnosed with larger tumors.
Registration fees vary by date: Now through August 2nd is $15 per individual or $20 per team member; August 3rd through August 31st is $20 per individual or $25 per team member; September 1st through October 3rd is $25 per individual or $30 per team member. A per person processing fee applies.
The registration fee includes the official Sista Strut T-shirt. Team members receive the official Sista Strut backpack. T-shirt pick up takes place at the iHeartRadio Building, 1255 Makers Way NW, Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30318. Day of parking recommendation is Up Front Parking, which offers up to two hours free; participants are asked to scan the posted QR code to start a parking session.
